Many users asked for a complete turnkey system to clean scrap metal. This setup is either used on scrapyards before feeding the shredder or behind the shear or directly in the steel mills and foundries before feeding the furnaces. Cleaning the scrap is decreasing the wear on the equipment by reducing the fines and non-ferrous material. Also it reduces the energy consumption in the furnaces and the amount of slag. The fireclay lining shows a longer life span by using cleaner steel scrap.
Capacities from 40 to/hr up to 300 to/hr can be achieved depending on the screen’s dimensions.
